I'm trying to set up a Cisco 7960 as a SIP client to a 3300. Was able to locate the How-to from Mitel but having trouble locating the SIP software. Anyone done this?

If you have the 3300, don't forget you'll need a SIP license on the 3300 for the Cisco phone to Register. What SIP software are you having trouble locating? Do you find this valuable?

We have the 3300 SIP Licenses. What I'm having dificulty with is locating the proper binarys for the Cisco 7960. I have teh Mitel How-to doc but it's for the 7970. I would think these would be similar enough to make work. I also have a Cisco CCO account that lets me DL software. I can find software on the Cisco site that says it's for SIP but when I uncompress the files there doesn't appear to be SIP anything.

Have you tried using X-Lite o connect to your Mitel? That will connect with minimal settings, at least you will know that the 3300 is OK. Do you find this valuable?

Mitel came out with a good How-To. I was able to get everything going.
Not worth the effort for what you get, however.
